I was very much into dance music back in the day, listening to house, trance, techno and beyond, going to the big clubs, events and festivals like Godskitchen, Gatecrasher and Global Gathering, as well as what became an annual pilgrimage to Ibiza for a few years. All this inspired me to put on nights in local bars and clubs, get behind the decks myself, and of course, to create the Residentclubber website. But for one reason or another, life eventually got in the way and things fizzled out.

But in the last few years or so, my passion has returned and I'm loving dance music again. Listening to the various DJ and record label podcasts and radio shows during my day job, eventually pushed me towards getting myself a Pioneer DDJ400 DJ controller in early 2022 as a birthday present to myself, with the aim of just creating DJ mixes for myself but with the hope of maybe getting a chance to actually play out live in venues again like I did before.

So I revived my house music DJ mix series, 'Resident Grooves', and not long after was even offered an hour slot behind the decks again for the first time since 2011, which I gladly accepted!!!

I've since restarted my 'Fusion' DJ mixes as well, giving me an opportunity to play different styles, something a bit more progressive and melodic than the 'Resident Grooves' DJ mixes. Both DJ mixes now regularly crack the Top 100 global Mixcloud genre DJ charts!

And all this has also spurred me to relaunch this website again, back online after closing in 2012!

I may be getting on in years now, but I am feeling a new zest in life, as if a spark has reignited in me again, and my passion for music, and dance music in particular, has been reawakened! I can't wait to see where the journey takes me again!
